FACES is currently seeking experienced Senior Behavioral Tutors to work with children with autism in home settings and in classrooms on the peninsula. The hours are Monday-Friday 9-5. Extensive on-going training will be provided.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Train new staff
- Participate in weekly meetings
- Participate in In-Service
- Participate in IEPs
- Take children to school
- Run play dates
- Take school/play date data
Requirements:
- A vehicle
- A valid driver’s license
- High school diploma
- Experience with discrete trial teaching
- One-year commitment

FACES is currently seeking entry-level Behavioral Tutors to work with children with autism in home settings and in classrooms on the peninsula. The hours are Monday-Friday 9-5. Extensive on-going training will be provided.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Behavioral tutors conduct 1:1 teaching sessions with preschool-aged children with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. Training will be provided in the use of a) discrete-trial procedures to teach language, academic, adaptive and social skills, and b) functional assessment of maladaptive behaviors.
Tutors work collaboratively with teams of 3-4 other personnel for each client. Extensive training and on-going supervision are a major component of our program. Part-time positions available.
